A Final Fantasy XIV RP Free Company

Fables are woven by those who dare to wander...

What is Drifter's Hearth

OOC
Drifter’s Hearth is a small, casual, and story-driven Free Company dedicated to immersive roleplay and relaxed Eorzean adventure. While we do have some activity expectations, our goal is to maintain a casual, stress-free community with the understanding that real life does come first. We aim to encourage members to shape and share stories of their own with one another to create a sense of ICly and even OOCly growing alongside one another through jolly cooperation. We offer:

  • Ghost Hunts: Investigate the paranormal and explore eerie, forgotten corners of Eorzea.

  • Tavern Socials: Casual, slice-of-life nights to unwind, share stories, and plot future arcs.

  • Sparring Nights: Friendly, in-character combat practice to hone your character's skills.

  • An evolving narrative featuring both FC-wide campaigns and intimate, member-led personal character arcs.

Whether you are a veteran storyteller or taking your very first steps into roleplay, there is a seat waiting for you by the fire. Everyone has a story to tell and we want to hear them!

IC

We were founded by one Ishgardian nobleman's desire to help the lost feel found. He and his family took in the beaten, downtrodden, lost souls that stumbled through their doors and gave them a home. A family.

It is in that same spirit, now that the Pendragons have passed on the mantle, that I dubbed us Drifter's Hearth. A home full of adventurers and natural wanderers who still seek to follow their knightly oath on a grander scale.

Come join us on this new adventure! Or, if you're in need of some capable adventurers, or even just a place to rest your weary head, stop by, we'll keep the hearth fed.

~Jaina Amaru, Keeper of the Hearth

At Drifter's Hearth, we adhere to the following guiding principles as individuals and as a company:Kindness, empathy, and respect above all else. These things are what differentiate a random group of players from a tight-knit company and family, and we can be at our best in an environment we know to be safe.Elitism has no place in our community. From sprouts to savage raiders, we welcome players of all levels of experience. We play together, we grow together, we succeed together.Play the way you want to play. While we are a primarily RP focused group, there’s room for all types of players at Drifter's Hearth, from roleplayers to omnicrafters, from competitives to casuals.Communication is key. In order to foster a great community, it is important for everyone to communicate clearly and with consideration.
